Today in English class, Mr. Rob taught us about analogy. What is analogy? Analogy is the comparison of a similar idea in order to explain one. There are two types of analogies, such as simile and metaphor. Simile analogy use the word 'like or as', while metaphor doesn't use 'like or as' word. There are basically 10 categories of analogies, but Mr. Rob said that we will learn only a few of it. Then after a small mini lesson, we did an eight grade level pre-assessment.
