Today was the first English class of term 3. Mr. rob introduced us to our new English topic which is "Idioms". I have heard this word somewhere, but I don't really know what it means.
Mr. Rob wrote several idioms on the white board and asked us to draw or illustrate the idioms. The idiom that I got is "Barking up the wrong tree", so i literally draw a dog barking up to the wrong tree. Then i went to sit with my friends that got the same idiom as me, and tried to brainstorm what it really means.
Here's what I learned:
Idiom: is a phrase or fixed expression that has a figurative, or sometimes literal, meaning
